History of Greenway Downs Citizens Assocation (GDCA)

While rummaging around local libraries one summer looking for tidbits about Greenway Downs, I stumbled upon two boxes of Greenway Downs Citizens Association  material  donated to the Fairfax County Library Archives in 1995.

The boxes contained most of the GDCA Minutes of Meetings from 1952-1992, and the Downs Newsletter from 1963-1990.

There are also Correspondence files from 1944-1990,  which I will add as time permits.

The entire collection (Accession #1995.002) can be found in the Virginia Room  in the Fairfax County Library.

I would like to thank librarian Chris Barbuschak for making the boxes available on my many visits last summer.
